First In GT III Category At '64 Le Mans

The '64 Daytona Coupe with the following serial number, CSX 2299, won the GT III category at the prestigious "24 Hours of Le Mans" in 1964. Like this Factory Five Racing Type 65 Daytona Coupe, it wore the number 5 in its meatballs. Unlike this replica, the GT III winning Type 65 was Painted in 'viking blue' metallic, not midnight blue.
