Run 'N’ Gun is a three-day event consisting of Road Course, Autocross, and Drag Strip venues. All events are "time only" events, meaning that you are racing the clock, not other participants (except on the drag strip).
You will have numerous practice sessions as well as timed lap runs. Again this year is a Wednesday event that has been a great success at Run ‘N' Gun. Should you choose, there will be vehicle "driving and set-up" seminars, including scales that will be used to advise you on how to best set your car for maximum performance. Wednesday afternoon, cars will be allowed on the track for additional practice.
If you are a new comer to track events, there is now a new class especially for the "novice". If you have little or no track experience, this may be the start of your new hobby. You won't have to compete against seasoned drivers in this class. Instruction and suggestions are yours for the asking from some of the best.
Think you might want to drive the track under controlled, non-competition sessions? Run 'N’ Gun also offers "controlled speed" sessions for you to get the feel of your car on the track without the fear.
Run 'N’ Gun 2008 has something for everyone. There will even be a dinner and awards presentation on Friday evening. Don't miss this event and all of the fun, friends and experiences associated with it. For more information, contact Dean Lampe (618) 322-6046, Clois Harlan (918) 633-5336, or visit www.runngun.net.
